For those of you who don’t speak Italian, this is what this dispute is about.
When Emanuele hears that Andrea, one of his friends, is desperately looking for a difficult-to-find (and expensive) book, he puts him in touch with Francesco, another good friend. The book, however, turns out not to be “brand new” as Andrea expected, even though he never asked Francesco about its conditions.
As a result, Emanuele, who wants to preserve his good relationship with both friends, suggests them to try and resolve their case with the assistance of an online mediator – Giuseppe.
What This Video Shows
An Ipad, Iphone or smartphone can be very useful during online mediation. That way, one party can show “live” to the other party (and to the mediator) what he or she is talking about and what caused their dispute.
In our video in Italian, the parties’ dispute was only about a book. The same “Don’t Tell Me – Shown Me” approach, however, can also be applied to other cases, as shown below.
